Boyd Lays Off Workers, Top Veeps
Boyd Gaming Corporation laid off its workers employed in several of the company’s markets across the nation after evaluating staffing levels and current business volumes. The Las Vegas based casino operator employed around 25,000 persons as a result of two recent acquisitions. The layoff decision affected around 1% of this workforce. Three Vice Presidents at the corporate office also lost their positions during the layoffs.
